If you have Green Toys that are starting to look a little dirty, don’t worry – they’re easy to clean! There are a couple of different ways you can go about it.
- One way is to simply put the toys in your sink and run hot water over them. This will help loosen up any dirt or soap residue that may be on the surface. Since many of these are designed to be bath toys, they can get dirty fast.
- Another – and probably easier – way to clean green toys is to put them in your dishwasher.
Make sure they’re on the top rack and run a normal cycle. Avoid using the heated dry setting, as this could potentially melt the toys.
Either way, your Green Toys should come out looking good as new!

I’m Tom from DIY Life Tech and this is a look at how to clean your green toys if they get a little dirty. Since these are bath toys, you’ll find sometimes they’ll get kind of residue and soap stuff and all that.
You can see a little bit inside of this green toys submarine but luckily they’re very simple to clean. The first way you might want to do that is you can do it in the sink. Just get the water very hot and we can spray and try to kind of get some of that out.
But actually, the easiest way to do it is just to put these in the top rack of your dishwasher. So just situated in there, face it downwards so that the top of this doesn’t collect water. So the hole to face down and then we’ll just run that.
Make sure it’s on the top rack so it doesn’t get too hot. I like to avoid the heated dry setting so again so it doesn’t risk melting it. And then we’ll go ahead and let that run on the cycle and that should clean it right out.
