Unboxing Dash Egg Cooker

I like hardboiled eggs for breakfast, but even cooking them in an Instant Pot can be a pain. Enter the Dash Rapid Egg Cooker, a purpose-built appliance that does nothing but cook eggs.

Here’s a video I made about unboxing the Dash cooker:

What’s in the Box?

When you open the box, you’ll find the instruction manual and recipes, so you can get started right away. The cooker itself is very small and compact, so you can easily tuck it away when not in use. It comes with a metal heating plate and plastic insert to hold the eggs during cooking.

Before you start, you’ll need to pierce the eggs with the provided little pin thing. The top of the cooker can then be placed over the eggs. To make sure the eggs cook correctly, you’ll need to pour in the right amount of water as well. The cooker also comes with an omelette pan and other accessories, so you can make poached eggs, etc.

If you want to make your own hardboiled eggs at home with basically no effort at all, the Dash Egg Cooker is a great choice.

Do you have to pierce eggs in dash egg cooker?

Technically you don’t need to pierce the eggs. It just makes them cook more evenly if you pierce them before cooking.
