How to Set Memory Point on Flexispot Standing Desk

One of the cool things about the Flexispot EB8 standing desk is that it has a memory. The memory allows you to set specific heights for the desk, and then have the desk return to those heights automatically.

This is useful if you like to switch between sitting and standing during the workday, or if you want to have the desk at an intermediate height. For example, you might want a different height for when you’re typing a document vs doing a Zoom call.

Here’s the process for setting memory points on the Flexispot EB8. Flexispot sent me this desk to try out, so thanks!

How to Create a Memory Point

To start, you need to use the manual controls to move the desk to the exact position you want to set into memory. This could be fully standing, fully seated, or somewhere in the middle – it all depends on what you want to do with it.

To set the memory location, all you have to do is press and hold the button corresponding to the slot you want to use for about five seconds. You should then see a “S1” on the screen, indicating that the memory has been saved.

Moving the Desk to a Memory Point

If you need to return to the memory point you just set, simply press the slot once lightly, and the desk will take you back to that exact height.

You can set up to four of these memory points using the different slots, giving you the height you need for whatever you will use the desk for. Whether you want to set one for fully at the top, fully at the bottom, or for the middle for video calls and higher chairs, you can easily do it with the memory settings.

Setting the memory on your Flexispot EB8 Standing Desk is an easy way to customize your desk and get it to the exact height you want. Give it a try and see how it works for you.
