First, open up the Nest app on your phone or tablet and select your thermostat. In my case, I have my thermostat set to heat my home to 69 degrees Fahrenheit. However, the system is currently turned off since the indoor temperature is already at a comfortable 71 degrees.

At the bottom of the Nest app interface, you’ll see a fan icon. This is where you can access the settings for manually running your fan. Tapping on this icon will allow you to set a duration for the fan to run.

Step 3: Set the Duration for Running the Fan

After tapping on the fan icon, you can choose how long you want the fan to run. The options available are 15 minutes, 30 minutes, 45 minutes, or any other duration up to 12 hours. For this example, I choose to run the fan for 15 minutes.

Once you’ve selected the desired duration, the Nest app will display a message at the bottom of the screen indicating that your fan will run for the chosen duration. Additionally, a small fan icon will appear on the app’s interface.
