Welcome! Today, I want to share with you my personal experience and step-by-step guide on how to track your workout using the smart and sleek Fitbit Inspire 3. It’s a fantastic device that can accurately measure all sorts of workout metrics, such as your pace, heart rate, distance traveled, calories burned, and so much more.
Starting in the Home Screen
Everything begins from the Fitbit Inspire 3’s home screen. Here, you will need to swipe to your left twice to get to the workout section. It’s a user-friendly interface, and you’ll find it pretty straightforward.

Choosing Your Preferred Workout
Once in the workout section, you’re presented with a list of exercise options to choose from. These range from walking and running, to biking and swimming, plus various other workout options. The Fitbit Inspire 3 offers a significant range of flexibility when it comes to workout tracking.
In this instance, I decided to perform a pretend run workout, and for that, I tapped on ‘run’.
Starting Your Workout
After selecting your preferred workout, simply press the start button. You’ll need to wait for the GPS to connect, although this doesn’t usually take very long. Once it’s connected, you’re off to the races to start your workout segment.
Monitoring Your Workout Metrics
While working out, the Fitbit Inspire 3 offers a feature that allows you to tap and see various on-demand information about your ongoing workout.
It’s a feature I find quite useful, as it allows me to stay updated with my pace, average pace, heart rate, calories burned, and even step count and time. Particularly interesting is the distance metric, which is conveniently placed at the top of the display.
Wrapping Up Your Workout
Once you’ve concluded your exercise session, your workout recap is just a few taps away. You can swipe up to pause your workout, then select finish. Voila! All the stats from your workout will show up. I must say, seeing detailed stats would have been even more delightful if I had actually gone on a real run!
Click done, return to the home screen, and your workout session is successfully tracked. You’re now ready to carry on with your day, feeling accomplished, having tracked your workout data effectively and efficiently.
I hope my firsthand experience using the Fitbit Inspire 3 has provided some valuable insight on its capabilities. Happy working out!
