In this blog post, we will look at how to turn on the seat warmer on the Honda Odyssey Minivan.
On my 2020 Honda Odyssey, the seat warmer buttons are located to the right and left of the shifter on the center console.
Hit the buttons, and you will get three different levels of seat warming. The three dots indicate the top level. You can press the button again to adjust the level down to one or to switch it off again.
When you’re done, press the button until the lights are back off again. You generally have one for both the passenger and driver’s seat, which is nice on those chilly days.
Why Do Odyssey Seat Warmers Keep Shutting Off?
For reasons we don’t fully understand, the seat warmers on the Honda Odyssey appear to slowly decrease their heating level over time.
If you select the maximum level, the Odyssey will automatically turn your warmer down to level 2 after about 10 minutes, and then ultimately to level one.
This doesn’t appear to be a glitch. It’s possible that Honda added this feature to stop the seats from overheating. But it’s annoying on a chilly day when you just want the warmer to stay on!
